General Info

The WaveLight LED Backlit 8ft Display is one of the thinnest tension fabric backlit displays on the market. It combines the ease of setup of a tube display with elegant LED backlighting to create a stunning visual solution.

Hardware Info

The frame is made up of 2 inch corded aluminum tubing that easily snaps together. Four light arrays hang from the frame to evenly light the graphic while minimizing shadowing. Included in the kit price is the premium CA700 Convertible Case to Counter. This convenient shipping case doubles as a podium during your show. It comes standard with a black case wrap with the option to upgrade to a printed graphic wrap.

Graphics Info

The pillowcase style graphic is printed on a recyclable, wrinkle-resistant polyester stretch backlit fabric with a Heise blockout fabric backer.

What We Think

As a comparable option to a backlit Hopup Display or an SEG Light Box the advantages of this display are the lower price, ease of setup, thinness of the frame and the included hard shipping case that converts to a counter with an optional graphic wrap. And unlike an SEG light box there's no exposed hardware on the sides. Overall this display is a great value and incredibly user-friendly.

How does it compare to a backlit Hopup or SEG light box?

It costs less, sets up more easily, has a thinner frame, and has no exposed hardware on the sides. The included case also converts to a counter.

How much power do backlit displays need?

Our backlit displays use energy-efficient LED lighting and plug into a standard wall outlet. Order booth electrical service from your show, and bring a power strip and extension cord to run behind your backwall. If you're also powering monitors or other equipment, order a larger circuit.

What is the case to counter?

How should I design artwork for a backlit display?

Bright, high-contrast colors look best when backlit. Avoid large areas of solid white or solid black. Backlit graphics are printed on special light-diffusing fabric.
