Trade Show Hanging Signs

12 products

Hanging Signs are a great way to draw attention to your retail or trade show booth space. These signs increase your visual presence, as attendees will take notice from across the convention hall. Our sign frames are constructed using aircraft grade, recyclable aluminum tubing that is sure to last. Several shapes and sizes are available, so don't wait to find the one that's right for you.

How to choose a hanging sign

  • Shape: a circle reads from every direction, which suits an island booth with traffic on all sides. Square and triangle signs give you flat faces, which are easier to design for when your logo or message is wide.
  • Size: match the sign to your booth and to the hall. A larger booth under a high ceiling can carry a bigger sign, but every show sets its own limits, so check the exhibitor manual before you order.

Not sure which shape or size to choose? Read our trade show hanging sign buyer's guide, which compares circle, triangle and square signs.

Frequently Asked Questions

See all FAQs →
Can I replace the graphic and keep the frame?

Yes. We offer replacement graphics for the products we sell, so you can update your message and reuse the frame.

What does single-sided mean on a hanging sign?

Single-sided means every exterior panel is printed with your artwork, and the interior is unprinted white or black fabric. Double-sided adds printing to the inside. You can use different designs on each exterior side at no extra cost.

Can I use a hanging sign in any booth?

Not always. Many shows only allow hanging signs over island or peninsula booths, or above a minimum booth size, and most set a maximum height. Your exhibitor manual will spell out the rules for your show.

Do I need approval to hang a sign?

Usually, yes. Most shows require the organizer to approve hanging signs in advance, often 60 days before the show. The sign must hang over your own space and be set back from neighboring booths. The show's labor crew normally hangs it, so ask the general contractor about rigging charges when you order.

Who hangs the sign at the show?

At most venues the show's rigging contractor has to hang it, and the service is ordered in advance through the exhibitor manual. Plan for that cost and deadline when you budget.

How are hanging signs made?

Our hanging signs use a lightweight anodized aluminum tube frame with a dye-sublimated stretch fabric graphic that slips over the frame and zips closed. One person can assemble a sign in about half an hour, and it packs into a compact carry bag.

What size hanging sign do I need?

A 10 ft wide sign is plenty for most 20 x 20 booths, and larger sizes suit bigger islands. Heights from 24" to 48" are available; 36" and 48" are the most common. Always check your show's rigging rules and height limits before ordering.
