A 10x20 backlit trade show display is a 20 ft wide light box: an aluminum frame with LED lights inside and a printed fabric graphic stretched across the front. In a 10 x 20 booth it becomes a glowing wall that can be seen from across the hall, however well or poorly the venue is lit. Why choose a backlit display for a 10x20 booth?

It gets noticed. A lit graphic draws the eye in a way a front-lit wall cannot, especially in a dim hall.
Color looks its best. Light passing through the fabric makes graphics vivid and even.
Maximum graphic space. Slim aluminum frames line the edge of the graphic, so nearly the whole wall is your image.
Graphics can be replaced. The fabric presses into the frame, so a new campaign means a new graphic, not a new display.

Infinity DNA Backlit 20 ft SEG Display

Best for: edge-to-edge graphics, and a display that can split into two 10 ft walls.

The Infinity DNA 20 ft is an edge lit light box, single or double-sided, made of two 10 ft Infinity DNA displays that link together in the middle. A patented SEG bead extends the image to the edge of the frame, which gives a virtually seamless look where the two frames meet. There is still a seam at the center, so keep it in mind when you place the main elements of your design. The kit includes two hard shipping cases that convert to counters at your show, with a black case wrap as standard and a printed wrap as an option.

Best for: fast, tool-free setup.

The WaveLight Casonara is an SEG tension fabric light box designed to make backlit graphics more portable, modular and customizable. The frame pieces are color coded, so the display can be assembled and taken apart quickly without tools. The kit includes the 20 ft flat frame, eight LED light array sets and four power supplies, each in soft molded carry cases, and a set of single or double-sided backlit graphics with a sewn-in silicone edge.

Inferno Straight Light Box Package 20 ft

Best for: a booth with a monitor, and the longest warranty.

The Inferno is an 8 ft x 20 ft light box made from durable yet lightweight aluminum extrusions. The top and bottom extrusions hold the UL listed LED lights, and setup needs only an Allen wrench. This package adds a second 48" x 96" light box and a VESA compatible monitor mount, so you can put a screen in the middle of your backwall. Wheeled shipping cases are included.

What to check before you buy

Power

A backlit display needs electricity. Order electrical service for your booth from the show, and ask us what the display you choose draws so you order enough.

One wall or two

Seams in the graphic

Ask how many graphic panels the display uses and where they meet. Keep faces, logos and small text away from the joins.

Single or double-sided

Against a back wall or drape, single-sided is enough. If people will walk behind the display, choose double-sided.

Monitor

Shipping and weight

A 20 ft light box weighs well over 100 lb and ships in several cases. Plan for shipping to the show and for moving the cases to your booth.

What is an SEG light box?

SEG stands for silicone edge graphic. The fabric graphic has a silicone bead sewn around its edge, which presses into a channel in the aluminum frame. LED lights inside the frame light the fabric from behind.
