Terms of service

These terms govern your use of tradeshowdirect.com and every order you place with us. "Tradeshowdirect," "we," and "us" mean Bell Creative, Inc., doing business as Tradeshowdirect, 794 North Main St., Harrisonburg, VA 22802.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Our products are made to order, and we require full payment before production begins.

Payment. We accept all major credit cards. Contact us to pay by ACH, wire, or check.
Order acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, including after confirmation, and will refund any amount charged.
Errors and omissions. The site may occasionally contain errors in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times, or availability. We may correct errors and cancel affected orders, including after an order is submitted, and will refund any amount charged.
Taxes and shipping. Sales tax and shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are in addition to product prices.
Quotes. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote states otherwise.
Graphic design. Design time is billed at $100 per hour. We will estimate the time before starting.
Product information. We work to show our products accurately, but colors and appearance may differ from what your screen displays. We may change product descriptions or discontinue products at any time.
Eligibility and accurate information. You confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, that the contact, billing, and payment details you give us are accurate, and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

Artwork, proofs, and color

You are responsible for the content of your artwork, and we print only what you approve.

Your files. Files must meet our File Setup Instructions. We review files for print readiness, not for spelling, grammar, or design.
Proofs. We send a digital proof before printing. The first round is free. Each additional round is $30. A hard copy proof is $75 plus shipping.
Approval. Production starts when you approve the proof. Once approved, you accept the layout, text, and images as shown, and the order cannot be changed or cancelled.
Color. Digital proofs show layout only. They are not an accurate representation of color or resolution, and exact color matches are not guaranteed. Provide PMS values to help with color accuracy, and order a test print when a precise match is essential.
Turnaround. Stated turnaround times begin after proof approval and payment, and do not include shipping time.

Production, shipping, and delivery

We ship by FedEx, UPS, or freight, and delivery dates are estimates.

Signature required. Packages ship with signature required. Make sure someone is available to sign at the delivery address.
Deadlines. Tell us your event date when you order. We work to meet it, but we are not liable for carrier delays or for delays caused by late artwork, late proof approval, or late payment.
Risk of loss. Risk of loss passes to you when we hand the order to the carrier. Inspect your order on arrival and report shipping damage to us promptly so we can help with a carrier claim.
Wrong or missing items. Tell us within 72 hours of delivery if you received the wrong product or parts are missing.

Returns, cancellations, and warranty

Stock merchandise can be returned within 14 days in new condition, less a 25% restocking fee. Custom and printed items cannot be returned.

Not refundable

Printed graphics and custom printed products.
Twist products (counters, desks, kiosks, pedestals, and charging stations), which are built to order.
Truss systems.
Design time and proofing fees.
Shipping charges.

Contact customer service before sending anything back. You pay return shipping.

Warranty. Our products are warranted against manufacturing defects. The warranty period varies by product and is listed on each product page. Call (540) 438-9933 to start a claim. The warranty does not cover damage from improper storage, improper shipping, shipping transit, misuse, or normal wear, and it does not cover return shipping. Claims are evaluated individually, and our remedy is repair or replacement of the defective item.

Intellectual property and your artwork

You keep ownership of your artwork, and we keep ownership of our site and designs.

Your artwork. You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you send us, including logos, photos, and fonts. You give us permission to reproduce it to fulfill your order and to store it for reorders.
Photos of finished work. We set up, inspect, and photograph displays before shipping. We may use those photos in our gallery and marketing unless you ask us not to.
Our content. The text, images, product designs, templates, and code on this site belong to Tradeshowdirect or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own use in ordering from us. Any other use requires our written permission.
Reviews and feedback. If you submit a review, comment, or suggestion, you give us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use, publish, and display it in any medium, including in our marketing. You confirm it is your own, is accurate, and does not violate anyone's rights. We may edit or remove reviews that are unlawful or offensive.

Use of the site, email, and text messages

Use the site lawfully and for its intended purpose of learning about and ordering our products.

Prohibited use. Do not harass others, impersonate anyone, upload unlawful or infringing content, interfere with the site's operation, or copy the site by automated means without our permission.
Accounts. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
Email. Customers are added to our email list for occasional product news and offers, typically no more than once a month. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
Text messages. If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send order updates and marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out.
Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Third-party links. The site links to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify, but every sale is made directly between you and Tradeshowdirect. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of a sale, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from products or services you buy from us. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from your purchases and transactions with Tradeshowdirect.

Disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification

Our responsibility is limited to the warranty above and to the amount you paid for the order.

Disclaimer. Except for the product warranty stated in these terms, the site and our products are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Tradeshowdirect is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, or costs related to a missed event, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification. You agree to defend and hold harmless Tradeshowdirect and its officers, employees, and suppliers from claims and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your artwork or content, your breach of these terms, or your misuse of the site or our products.

Governing law, disputes, changes, and contact

Virginia law governs these terms and any dispute between us, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Venue. Any legal proceeding related to the site or an order must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Time limit. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises.
Changes. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
General. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with your order confirmation and any written quote, are the entire agreement between us for that order.
Termination. We may suspend or end your access to the site or your account at any time if you violate these terms. Amounts you owe remain due, and the sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law continue to apply.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign these terms, for example if the business is sold.
